Vukovar Film Festival
The river of films flows again. The river Danube is the grand symbol which links all the countries through which it flows, or upon which it bears influence due to its vicinity. Consequently, the Vukovar Film Festival becomes a significant presentation of one of the most vibrant film industries in the world - the films made in the countries of the Danube basin. The screening of films on the banks of the river, on the Danube barge or in the house of the Nobel prize winner Lavoslav Ružička, combined with the hospitality of the local population and the indigenous gourmet delicacies, provide an ideal atmosphere for socializing and convey the message that Vukovar and the Danube have that something which cannot be described by words. It can only be experienced.
